After School Program
Built upon years of martial arts experience since 1990 at the Pickwick Center and the increase demand by parents for an alternative to after school day-care, we began offering our innovative After School Martial Arts Program (AMP). AMP provides an exciting and safe alternative to day care for children between the ages of 5 to 12 years old. Integrating traditional martial arts training with a quality after school program students can expect to improve in self-discipline, self-defense, physical fitness, confidence and leadership skills. No other after school day-care can offer the benefits that an after school martial arts program can provide.
Our program accommodates the Fairfax County school schedule, and as an added convenience, AMP offers full day programs on teacher work days, school half days and select holidays.
Each structured day includes

- Monday: 12:30-6:30
- Tuesday – Friday: 3:00-6:30

- Transportation provided from local schools in our pickup area.
